Alan L. Nobler practiced law in Silicon Valley for 48 years. He has written a compelling first novel “The Girl in the Halo“, taking the reader into the world of violence and the many aspects of the legal system.
He now works as a conflict resolution consultant with attorneys, judges, therapists, and financial professionals in Mediation and Collaborative Practice. He is currently working on a second novel.
Alan has presented for the Santa Clara County Bar Association, the Association of Certified Family Law Specialists, the State Bar of California, the State Bar of Idaho, the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, Collaborative Practice California as well as local Collaborative organizations throughout California.

Alan practiced law in Santa Clara County from 1969 to 2017; mediating conflicts from 1996 to 2017.
Mediations included: real estate, professional negligence, contractor vs. business, personal injury, estate disputes and divorce.
Trials included real estate, fraud, personal injury, divorce. Has represented both Plaintiffs and Defendants in tort litigation. Arbitrator in cases involving contracts, divorce, real estate, personal injury and attorney fees.
